This home is located in a small surfing/fishing town and has a wonderful local vibe and beach culture. The home is CLOSE TO THE BEACH but tucked back a little, providing you the experience of both the beach and the rainforest. It’s about 750 meters to the beach, which is roughly a 10-15 minute walk and a few minutes drive.

This is a wonderful house in a great town of Esterillos, Oeste. I have been coming here for 12 years, and it has not changed a bit, unlike many other places in CR. Chloe and her family were absolutely great hosts, the house is wonderful, and we can't wait to come back!

This home is really lovely and perfect for a family vacation. We loved everything about the house and our 18-20 year old's with us had a great time playing ping pong, sleeping in the hammocks and taking surf lessons from Dan.

Perfect stay!

We had a good time in Casa Tucana, a very nicely situated and beatiful place! Especially the kids loved the pool and the table tennis, the adults really appreciated all the good advices from Chloe! The surf lesson was another highlight of our stay there! Thanx!

Casa Tucana is a great place to stay. We enjoyed the beauty of the surroundings very much. The house easily accommodated all 8 of us. The hosts were very available and sweet.

Beautiful, comfortable retreat with all the amenities!

We couldn't have enjoyed this place any more.... the property was beautiful from the stunning pool area to the relaxing back porch to the private rooftop patio! The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable and the bathrooms were so much more luxurious than I would have expected! The kitchen had everything we needed for our week long stay, the wifi worked great, and the hosts were available for anything we may have needed (which was only 1 time!). The small town was quiet and everything was convenient, including the stunning beach and some great little restaurants. We can't wait to come back and enjoy this property again SOON!

PuraVida Casas is what happens when a Parisian ballerina marries a California Surfer! I was born and raised in Paris, France, where I studied Ballet. I attended University in the U (BYU) where I received my MBA. Somehow, I ended up marrying a surfer boy from Santa Barbara, California! 35 years and 6 children (+ 3 grandchldren) later.... we are now [almost] empty nesters... through it all, I remain french, I love the arts and visit my family in France regularly. My family as a whole loves the outdoors and we have enjoyed gathering in Costa Rica. We love the laid back atmosphere, the warm water, great waves and lush nature. We love making this Costa Rican experience available to others in a beautiful and fun setting.
